The trainer of current UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar said last week that his fighter is “definitely coming back” to scrap in the octagon.

“Brock Lesnar is definitely coming back to fight,” Lesnar’s head trainer Greg Nelson stated in an interview with ESPN.com’s MMA Live. “He’s just kind of coming up slowly, training, trying to get his body ready and being smart with his recovery.”

If there has been one advantage to the UFC's current curse of fighter injuries, it is the fact that people are so happy to see a title get defended they won't complain about the awful matchup. As much as I've hated B.J. Penn until now, I can't help but think that this is his fight to lose. Penn has only one real weakness, and that is strong wrestling. We all saw this get exposed in the GSP fight. Assuming that Penn hadn't been working on this, Diego still doesn't have the same level of wrestling as GSP, and nowhere near the level of ground control. This is a guy who got controlled on the ground by Clay Guida for a significant portion of their fight.

After the main event of the largest milestone for the UFC up to date, many were left flabbergasted. Unfortunately, it was not due to the sheer dominance its heavyweight displayed but rather his complete disregard for his opponent and fans in the arena. The question that continues to be asked is whether Brock Lesnar is on the level.

Wrestling fans, in the past you've seen snakes from Jake "The Snake" Roberts, parrots from Koko B. Ware, bulldogs from Davey Boy Smith and the Dynamite Kid. Victoria is back in wrestling as "Tara" in TNA and she's striking fear in the hearts of the TNA Knockouts. Check it out (if you're afraid of spiders, don't click play):

Vince McMahon's announcement of the "sale" of Monday Night Raw to a new owner really excited me last night. There were so many possibilities. How cool would it be for the fans if Eric Bischoff bought Raw, only to change the name to Monday Nitro? What a storyline! How about Billionaire Ted (Ted Turner for those of you who may not remember the Monday Night Wars)? Heck, even the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase would have opened some doors. We got, instead, Donald Trump?

It's time the WWE give Edge a real run with either the WWE title or the World Heavyweight  title. For some reason the WWE treats him as a transitional champion even though he is considered by many to be the best wrestler in the industry. His longest reign is only three and a half months long out of his nine World titles reign. He's a great in ring preformer and just as good on the stick. It's great that they got him away from Vickey Guerrerro. It's time for the WWE hype machine to get behind him and give him an eight to ten month title reign!

Ball players and their fans are very superstitious creatures. Ballplayers will do anything to get a hitting streak going. Pitchers will do anything to get a winning streak going. The fans will go anything to get a rally going if their team is behind during a game. They'll do everything from not washing their socks, to putting tar on their helmets. When a pitcher is throwing a perfect game, the rest of the players stay away from him, thinking that their mere presence is going to mess up his chances to make that milestone. New York Yankees SS Derek Jeter, our beloved captain is very superstitious. If he or his team is approaching some kind of milestone that he is not aware of, he will dog the media and say that they jinxed the team by bringing it to his attention. Case in point: during a post-game interview a couple of days before the Yankees beat the 2006 Boston Red Sox team record for most consecutive games played without committing an error, Kimberly Jones brought it his attention. The first thing that he tells her is, "Why did you tell me that, it's bad karma, " then he answers the questions. In a commercial on the MLB Network, they show fans showing up at the gate to their favorite teams ballparks some of them have face-paint on. Others are dressed like Shamans carrying Voodoo beads. Come on, people. Enough with the superstitions all ready! How about praying for your team? I do it! Whenever the Yankees are behind in a game and they're rallying, I lean forward in my chair and put in my hands together and bring them to my face in a praying position thinking, sometimes saying, "Come on!" I do this because I believe it will bring God into the situation and the Yankees will bring home runs. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, I praise the Lord because ultimately the game is in His hands. Only He knows the outcome, but I believe prayer does more than just spark up a rally a bring in runs.
